Description

Known locally as the Pitkin House, this residence was the location for the 1987 film "The Whales of August" starring Bette Davis, Lilian Gish and Vincent Price. I painted it on a hot summer day from the unique angle on the eastern beach. Cliif Island, Maine, 2007.
