The Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank Wall Art

In the Fall of 2014, Francois received a commission to do a portrait of the eight branches of the Newburyport Five Cents Savings Bank. The bank is so called because in it's earliest history it was founded with the understanding that even a nickel could open an account! Quickly it got a reputation as a "child-friendly" or children's bank. Francois' whimsical portraits done with antique cars and bicycles add to the charming flavor of this Newburyport institution. A pleasure working with the bank and it's great staff....
